England has Beef Wellington, France has Boeuf Bourguignon, and the Arab world has the Lamb Shoulder.
In Lebanon, the lamb shoulder dish symbolizes togetherness, abundance, and hospitality. Especially for the Festive Season, we want to bring this tradition to life at Cedars and let you experience this unique piece of culture firsthand.
A lamb shoulder serves 4–5 people. Please note: the preparation takes at least 6 hours of slow roasting in the oven — which is why you won’t often find this dish on a regular menu. Be sure to plan ahead and reserve this delicious and symbolic dish at least 24 hours in advance.
The slow-roasted lamb is served with Lebanese rice, fresh vegetables, and roasted nuts. We recommend pairing it with our delightful mezze and salads for a complete experience.
During the Festive Season, we’re offering the Lamb Shoulder (available until January 31) at a special price of €199.
